A fiction or nonfiction story told through a digital book that includes multimedia storytelling and is received in serial form, one chapter at a time. To fully explain, let’s break the terminology down:
Multimedia storytelling is a work of fiction or nonfiction woven with 'how to' learning moments published in digital chapters that include links to web landing pages, videos, images and music that support the storyline and what the character and/or reader is learning. As a part of the multimedia serial story experience, the author vets the internet and curates an experience for the reader that they can trust, enjoy, and learn.
In a serial story, the reader receives installments over a series of time, in this case, a short chapter a day. At 750 to 1500 words a day, it takes most readers ten minutes at most to read and is meant to be enjoyed over morning coffee, during a workplace break, or unwinding at night over a glass of wine. Similar to streaming a TV episode, each chapter can be read as it “drops” or be binged all at once.
A multimedia book experiences combines multimedia and serial storytelling with the hope to enlighten and inspire as well as entertain! It’s not a novel. It's not a short story. It’s not a traditional nonfiction book. It's a new form of storytelling medium using flipbook technology.
Whether fiction or nonfiction, every multimedia book experience is meant to help the reader immerse themselves in an entertaining story, explore new possibilities, and inspire each of us to live our best life.

SummerSnow’s Ignite imprint is a work in progress, and one that we are very excited to develop! Imagine, for instance, English-Spanish readers that include developmentally appropriate text, audio of the teacher reading the book aloud, videos highlighting Spanish speaker’s cultural heritages, and all sorts of other multimedia support.

Content Agreement
Thank you for your interest in our multimedia book experiences! SummerSnow Publications LLC (“SummerSnow”) values its relationship with its customers, so this SummerSnow Content Agreement (“Agreement”) is provided to ensure clarity in the relationship and ease of making transactions. The following are terms of a legal agreement between you and SummerSnow. By using the SummerSnow services to access SummerSnow’s multimedia book experiences (the “Content”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including export and re-export control laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use SummerSnow’s services or purchase access to the Content.
All transactions with SummerSnow will be governed under the general commercial laws of the State of Minnesota as supplemented or modified by this Agreement, without regard to conflict of law principles. SummerSnow will accept your order only if (1) you accept the terms of this Agreement, and (2) the Content you have selected is available. SummerSnow reserves the right to cancel your order in its sole discretion, for any reason.
Confirmation of receipt of your order does not constitute acceptance of your order; your order is accepted only when you receive confirmation that the order has been shipped. This Agreement is the complete agreement between you and SummerSnow regarding your purchase of products and replaces any prior oral or written communications between you and SummerSnow. Any additional or different terms in any order or written communications from you are void. If there is a commercial agreement in effect between you and SummerSnow, then the terms of the commercial agreement govern this transaction.
Your purchase grants you a license to access the Content for your personal use only. You may not (i) transfer, copy or display Content, except for your personal use; (ii) sell, rent, lease, distribute, or broadcast any Content; (iii) remove any proprietary notices or labels on Content; (iv) attempt to disable, bypass, modify, defeat, or otherwise circumvent any digital rights management or other protection system applied to Content; or (v) use the Content for any commercial or illegal purpose. If you require an educational or commercial license, please contact SummerSnow at summersnowpub@icloud.cominfo@summersnow.pub.
SummerSnow reserves the right to accept or refuse your purchase of access to the Content, or to restrict use of and access to the Content and the SummerSnow services in its discretion. You may not transfer or assign your access to the Content. SummerSnow may take actions that it deems reasonably necessary to prevent fraud and abuse, including placing restrictions on the amount of Content or other SummerSnow services that are accessible at any one time.
Once you have purchased access to the Content, we encourage you to experience the Content promptly after purchase. As a convenience to you we may continue to make your purchased Content available for repeated experiences in your account, but we do not guarantee that such Content will be available indefinitely. SummerSnow will not be liable to you if the Content becomes unavailable for any reason or for any period of time, including but not limited to changes to or unavailability of the platform that SummerSnow uses to make the Content available to you (see Payments and Platform below).
The Content may be updated from time to time without notice to you, as determined by SummerSnow in its sole discretion. Typically, these changes will include refreshing links, correcting grammar, and similar minor changes.
Pricing is for a one-year period of access to the Content; if you still want to access the Content after one year, you have the option to renew the license at the current rate if that edition of the Content is still being sold. Should a new edition of the Content be released, you can purchase a subscription to the new edition at the rate it is released. Once your subscription is bought, you cannot cancel or return it.
The prices displayed for the Content are quoted in U.S. dollars and are valid and effective only within the United States, and such prices do not include sales taxes, if applicable, which will be added to your total price. If you are located outside the United States, please be sure that you are aware of the price in your local currency, and that your credit card company may charge a currency conversion fee, for which SummerSnow is not responsible.
If Content is quoted at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information: 1) SummerSnow has the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the product quoted at the incorrect price, even if SummerSnow has confirmed the receipt of your order and charged your credit or debit card: and 2) if SummerSnow has charged your credit or debit card but subsequently canceled your order, SummerSnow will promptly issue a credit to your credit or debit card account for the amount charged. You are responsible for taxes, if any, for each product from the date SummerSnow ships it to you. No other discounts, quantity entitlements, or promotions apply unless expressly specified for this transaction.
SummerSnow uses a third-party shopping platform and payment processor, Square. You can find out more about Square at https://squareup.com/us/en. SummerSnow also uses a third-party platform for displaying and sharing the Content, FlipHTML5. You can find out more about FlipHTML5 at https://fliphtml5.com/. By accessing or purchasing Content from SummerSnow, you are agreeing to Square’s Terms of Use and FlipHTML5’s Terms of Use. When you place an order for Content, you will be asked to provide personal information including but not limited to your name, physical address, telephone number, and credit or debit card information. This information will be used to process your order and payment, and for related purposes. For additional information, please read Square’s Privacy Policy and security information as well as FlipHTML5’s Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
When you purchase the Content, SummerSnow receives the following personally identifiable information: name, phone number, email, and address. SummerSnow uses this information to provide you with access to the Content you have purchased and may use it for marketing purposes. SummerSnow does not rent or sell your personally identifiable information.
SummerSnow is not responsible for maintenance of the FlipHTML5 platform. Should the platform be discontinued and SummerSnow chooses not to move to a new platform, your access to the Content will be discontinued. Should SummerSnow move its Content to a new platform but choose not to move any portion of the specific Content that you have purchased, your access to the Content you have purchased will also be discontinued. SummerSnow reserves the right to move to a new platform at any time with or without notice.
All purchases are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time by visiting the Square page for your license, but your license and access to the Content you have purchased will continue through the end of the then-current license period.
There may be links or references to other websites and resources provided within the Content or otherwise accessible through SummerSnow’s services. SummerSnow does not own or control these third-party websites, and this Agreement not apply to them. SummerSnow makes no representations, warranties, or other commitments whatsoever about any third-party websites resources that may be referenced, accessible from, or linked to the Content or SummerSnow’s services. A link to a third-party website does not mean that SummerSnow endorses the content or use of such website or its owner. In addition, SummerSnow is not a party to or responsible for any transactions you may enter into with third parties, even if you learn of such parties (or use a link to such parties) from the Content or otherwise access it through SummerSnow’s services. Accordingly, you acknowledge and agree that SummerSnow is not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, and is not responsible or liable for any content, services, products, or other materials on or available from those sites or resources.
When you access a third-party website, even one that may contain the SummerSnow name or logo, please understand that it is independent from SummerSnow, and that SummerSnow does not control the content on that website. It is up to you to take precautions to protect yourself from viruses, worms, trojan horses, and other potentially destructive programs, and to protect your personal information as you deem appropriate.
YOUR ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE CONTENT IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. ALL MATERIALS, INFORMATION, SERVICES AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS,” WITH NO WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES WHATSOEVER. SUMMERSNOW EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, AND OTHER WARRANTIES, GUARANTEES, OR REPRESENTATIONS, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT OF PROPRIETARY AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS. WITHOUT LIMITATION, SUMMERSNOW MAKES NO WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE THAT THE CONTENT OROR THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, CORRECT, COMPLETE, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE OR THAT DEFECTS IN THE SERVICES OR THE CONTENT WILL BE CORRECTED.
YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT IF YOU OBTAIN MATERIALS, INFORMATION, CONTENT, OR SERVICES, YOU DO SO AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK AND THAT YOU WILL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES THAT MAY RESULT, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA OR DAMAGE TO YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEM.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
IN NO EVENT WILL SUMMERSNOW BE LIABLE TO ANY PARTY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY TYPE WHATSOEVER RELATED TO OR ARISING FROM THE SERVICES OR THE CONTENT OR ANY USE OF THE SERVICES OR THE CONTENT, OR OF ANY SITE OR RESOURCE LINKED TO, REFERENCED, OR ACCESSED THROUGH THE SERVICES OR THE CONTENT, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, SQUARE, FLIPHTML5, AND SPONSORED LINKS, OR FOR THE USE OR DOWNLOADING OF, OR ACCESS TO, ANY MATERIALS, INFORMATION, PRODUCTS, OR SERVICES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY LOST PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOST SAVINGS OR LOSS OF PROGRAMS OR OTHER DATA, EVEN IF SUMMERSNOW IS EXPRESSLY ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THIS EXCLUSION AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY APPLIES TO ALL CAUSES OF ACTION, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORIES.
SummerSnow reserves the right to make changes to this Agreement at any time with or without notice to you. If any change to this Agreement is found invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that change is severable and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining changes and the remainder of this Agreement. Your continued use of and access to the Content and the SummerSnow services after changes to this Agreement constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to any changes, you must stop accessing or using the Content and SummerSnow’s services.
You agree that this Agreement and your purchase of Content from SummerSnow are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict of law principles. You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts, tribunals, agencies and other dispute resolution organizations in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in all disputes arising out of, relating to, or concerning SummerSnow products and/or this Agreement. If any part of this Agreement is invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the Agreement shall govern.
